Last night was the first round of the NBA draft, with two Huskies being selected in the top 7 picks. Marc Robbins was on with Chaz and AJ to evaluate the teams they’ll be playing for, and which UConn players may still be selected in the next part of the draft. (0:00)

Live Nation’s Jimmy Koplik had some updates on Ozzy Osbourne and Neil Young, plus, calls from Tribe about the worst weather they’ve encountered while attending concerts. Steve remembered an ill-fated music festival in Calverton, that was canceled, rescheduled, moved to a new location, endured terrible rain, and sent Beck to the hospital. (12:25)

Miss Connecticut, Monica Fenwick was in studio. Monica is also a speech pathologist, so she attempted to translate some of AJ’s flubbles. (32:55)

PODCAST – Wednesday, June 26: Stolen Car Stories; New Laws Starting Monday; 100 Things To Do In Connecticut Before You Die

Chaz and AJ talked about a recent news story involving a stolen car that crashed into a school bus. The Tribe called in to share stories of the times their cars were stolen, and this is apparently still a very big problem in the state. (0:00)

Vince Candelora was on to talk about some of the new laws going into effect starting July 1, including a hot issue about the age students can enter kindergarten. (14:21)

Author Stasha Mills Healy was on to talk about the most fun and interesting places to visit in Connecticut. She literally wrote the book on it, “100 Things to Do in Connecticut Before You Die.” (27:19)

A road rage incident in Old Saybrook made news, when one driver pulled a gun on the other. Chaz and AJ took a few calls from the Tribe about their road rage experiences, and learned that Memphis is apparently the road rage capital of the United States. (0:00)

Joe Calzone, of Calzone Cases, talked about some of his famous clients. Joe has made special cases for a lot of sports teams, to safely transport their championship trophies. (6:35)

Andy Randi is the man in charge of the fireworks for East Haven’s 4th of July celebration. Andy was on to talk about the preparation, cost and safety that goes into a show of this magnitude, and Eddie Sab from the mayor’s office called to share the specific playlist he’s putting together for the show. Protestors attempted to ruin the end of the Travelers Championship, running onto the course with smoke bombs during the end of the match. Chaz and AJ spoke with a spectator that witnessed the whole thing, then Joe the Weed Guy explains the newest medical conditions the state is recognizing for medical marijuana. (6:56)

Wild weather came through the state this weekend, including a confirmed tornado and a lightning strike in Cromwell. The Tribe called in their craziest weather experiences. (22:14)
