20 years ago this summer the Red Hot Chili Peppers played at The XFINITY Theatre in Hartford. Sadly, they haven’t been back to Connecticut since. According to our calculations, over the past 35 years, the Chili Peppers have only played Connecticut six times, including a few stops at Toad’s Place. So seeing them here in our area has been incredibly rare over the years.
Today we look back at their performance in Hartford in the summer of 2000. Joining them on the tour were special guests the Foo Fighters.
