Throwback Concert: Van Halen at New Haven Coliseum 1986

Rest In Peace Eddie Van Halen. Eddie passed away on Tuesday at age 65.

Today we look back at when Van Halen, then with new singer Sammy Hagar, came to New Haven (or “New Halen” as they called it) in 1986. Van Halen played back-to-back nights at New Haven Coliseum on their 5150 Tour. You may recall the second show of the two nights at The Coliseum was filmed for their Live Without a Net Video, which you can still buy on Amazon!
