Mighty John the Record Guy has worked with horror writer Stephen King a lot in the past, and told Chaz and AJ a scary story about the things he heard while supposedly alone in Stephen’s home. (0:00)

Dumb Ass News – Chaz and AJ don’t seem to think a bunch of guys wanting to fire bowling balls out a cannon are dumbasses. (3:05)

Frances bought a haunted house, now infamously known to the rest of the country as one of the most haunted places in America. She tried to explain herself to Chaz and AJ, and what she saw AND heard in her short time as the home-owner. (11:46)

Michael Bielawa was back on to talk about some more famous CT hauntings, including the New England vampires. Apparently they are different from the one portrayed in movies. (23:50)

Ashley was given a very simple task for this weekend, watch a scary movie. She spent maybe 15 seconds trying to find it, and then gave up. Chaz and AJ, the Tribe, and even the boss are very upset with her. (41:35)

This week we celebrate Glenn Tipton’s birthday! The lead guitarist of Judas Priest celebrated his 73rd birthday on October 25th!

To celebrate, today we look back at when Judas Priest, along with Dokken, melted several thousand faces at New Haven Coliseum in 1986! Judas Priest hit the road in ’86 to support their album Turbo.

Throwback Concert: Black Sabbath at New Haven Arena 1972

Before there was the New Haven Coliseum there was the New Haven Arena. Located on Grove Street, the old Arena was first opened in 1914. Two things the Arena was probably best known for: hockey and concerts. While hockey fans cheered on the New Haven Blades and its “Slapshot” style of hockey, music fans were rockin’ out to bands like The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Cream, The Allman Brothers Band, Alice Cooper and of course The Doors.

The New Haven Arena closed its doors in 1972 to make way for the newer, larger Coliseum. The Arena was sadly demolished two years later in 1974.

Today we look back one of our favorite shows to come to the Arena: Black Sabbath in 1972. This was first time Black Sabbath played here in Connecticut.
