With AJ now out of the box, Chaz and AJ asked the Tribe to call in the jobs that you can’t just walk away from. A few teachers called in, then Al had a story about accidentally turning on the cement mixer while two guys were still in there. (0:00)

Connoisseur Media CEO Jeff Warshaw was on the phone to recap the trip he and Chaz took to Consiglio’s, and somehow one joke from AJ derailed the whole segment. (8:08)

50 Years, 50 Albums 1991: Metallica ‘Metallica’

1991 was a great year in music with the debut of Pearl Jam’s Ten, Guns ‘N Roses’ Use Your Illusion I and II, and the fifth studio album from Metallica “The Black Album” or self titled. Ten and I & II were incredible albums that gave us songs that have become staples in our music libraries for the past 30 years, but Metallica’s Black album put this band into the mainstream rock arena. Already having a huge “thrash metal” following with the previous four albums, it was the Black album’s slower and heavier sound, with songs like “Enter Sandman,” “Nothing Else Matters,” and “Wherever I May Roam,” that put them on the map. “Wherever I May Roam” has even been performed with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra conducted by Michael Kamen. The album received widespread critical acclaim and became the band’s best-selling album, certified 16x platinum and selling over 16 million copies worldwide.

PODCAST – Thursday, October 11: A Veterans Day Salute For Our Heroes

Joe Della Monica is a retired Milford police officer, and was on the phone this morning to talk about his military career. He served in the air force during Desert Storm, then was deployed with the National Guard following the events of 9/11. Longtime Tribe member Beefman also called in to talk about his father serving in World War II, where he was part of a unit that operated half track vehicles. (0:00)

Robert Lombardo has been awards five purple hearts and bronze stars for his actions as a platoon medic. He was on the phone with Chaz and AJ this morning to share the details from his heroic actions, during a raging battle that had him under constant gunfire and threat of shrapnel. (22:46)

Vietnam Veteran Art Wiknik called in to share a story from his service, that involved the death of a wild boar and a lot of punishment. (36:01)
