PODCAST – Wednesday, February 16: How You Can Help The Blood Shortage; Flight Attendant Hits Passenger With Coffee Pot; Why “The Devil Made Me Do It” Is A Bad Legal Defense

There is a blood shortage at the blood banks. Chaz and AJ spoke with Richard at the Red Cross about how we can help donate, and then Dr. Ron Clark was on to highlight how helpful these donations are in emergency situations. (0:00)

Chaz’s wife, Jennifer was the one who suggested Chaz and AJ help get the word out about donating blood. She was on to talk about it from a nurse’s standpoint, but somehow AJ made the segment all about him. (13:54)

A flight attendant made news headlines for hitting an “unruly” passenger with a coffee pot. Chaz and AJ found audio of a news report, but missed crucial details because of the reporter’s funny sounding voice. (21:55)

Dumb Ass News – A man on a bicycle in California lost his fight with a bull. There was video to go along with this story, and everyone’s scorecard had the bull winning unanimously. (28:51)

Attorney Max Rosenberg had a bull encounter of his own to share, but was really on to discuss his involvement in the Connecticut case from the third Conjuring movie. “The Devil Made Me Do It” was not a good legal defense, but Max’s involvement came after. (35:22)

Where will you be able to buy and smoke weed in Connecticut? Joe the weed guy was on to answer, but we did not get all of the information because of some distractions from the monkey cage. (47:08)

Dumb Ass News – Ice fishing leads to prostitution? At least one mayor seems to think so. (0:00)

Attorney Norm Pattis was on to talk about a big Connecticut case becoming a blockbuster movie, but first we had to talk about the ancient Roman “brothel coins.” (11:01)

PODCAST – Monday, February 14: Our Favorite Moments From The Game; NFL Agent Joe Linta; Drunken Disney Brawl

Still a little tired from watching the spectacle the night before, Chaz and AJ talked about their favorite moments from the game. (0:00)

Cathy and Joe are happily married, until the Bengals and Rams have to play each other. So of course there was a little “adult” bet between them, and they were both on to reveal who won, and who paid. (13:42)

Chaz had a mouth full of gauze to pay up on losing his bet on the coin toss, and while talking about the commercials from last night, they took a call from Ed. Ed’s mother-in-law was in charge of getting Jim Carrey’s “Cable Guy” commercial together. (20:38)

NFL Agent Joe Linta was on to gloat about his son’s Super Bowl pork butt, and the important moments from the game. (30:26)

Dumb Ass News – Two sisters from New Jersey got drunk in Disney, fought each other, took off their clothes, and threw up everywhere. (47:09)

99.1 PLR Perfect Album: Rolling Stones ‘Let It Bleed’

99.1 PLR Perfect Album: Rolling Stones ‘Let It Bleed’

Let It Bleed, the 8th studio album from the Rolling Stones, was released in 1969 as their follow-up record to Beggars Banquet. During the recording of the album, Brian Jones’ excessive drug use made him increasingly unreliable and ultimately he was fired from the band. He died within a month of being fired. While the record hit top tens throughout various markets, no singles released from the album were chart topping hits. Those songs, now some of the Stones’ staples and more famous hits, included “Gimme Shelter” and “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”. The album is now viewed as one of the best albums of all time.
