PODCAST – Tuesday, October 18: The Comedian Who Had A Beer Can Thrown At Her; Jury Duty Stories; How You Found Out Your Partner Cheated

Ariel Elias is a comedian that went viral recently, for enduring two audience members heckling her while she was on stage in New Jersey. Then, as they were leaving the venue, throwing a beer can at her on stage. Ariel picked up the can, chugged the remainder of the beer, and instantly became a hit on social media. (0:00)

Chaz’s wife, Jennifer has been selected for jury duty, and wanted to know if she’d be OK to bring her own lunch. The Tribe called in a lot of helpful information and their own stories about serving as jury members. (15:49)

Chaz and AJ asked the Tribe how they found out that their partner was cheating. There’s no good way to find out, but learning about their infidelity while giving birth to their child seems particularly brutal. (35:17)

We had a great time at Toyota Oakdale Theatre for Judas Priest with special guest Queensryche! Mike Lapitino was hanging out at the 99.1 PLR Table in the lobby meeting everyone that stopped by.

99.1 PLR Perfect Album: Def Leppard ‘Hysteria’

The idea was to make a hard rock version of Thriller. It took three years, three producers and a number of tragic car accidents for it to finally happen, but it did. The album produced seven hit songs and went on to become one of the biggest sellers, not only of Def Leppard’s career, but in rock music history. Featuring their biggest hit “Pour Some Sugar on Me”, which was added to the album at the last minute, along with other smash hits “Love Bites” and “Armageddon It”.

Fun Fact: The album was originally going to be called Animal Instincts. They changed the title when drummer Rick Allen saw the word “hysteria” in the newspaper and suggested it to the band.

Dumb Ass News – A teen swallowed a dog toy squeaker, and while in the hospital awaiting the doctor, his mother recorded him squeaking all over the place. (29:22)
