99.1 PLR celebrates 50 years! This week we are celebrating our ninth year on the air: 1980!
That year Queen came to Connecticut and rocked Hartford’s XL Center (then called the Hartford Civic Center). Queen was supporting its eighth studio album, “The Game,” which featured hit songs “Another One Bites The Dust” (which Queen played live for the first time ever in Hartford in 1980) and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.”
