99.1 PLR celebrates 50 years! This week we are celebrating another great year in our history: 1973!
That year PLR welcomed Pink Floyd to Waterbury’s Palace Theater. Pink Floyd hit the road in 1973 to support its eighth studio album, “Dark Side of the Moon,” which featured such super hits like Money, Us and Them and Time. Pink Floyd had released “Dark Side of the Moon” less than three before its show in Waterbury and played the album in its entirety at The Palace.
