Chaz and AJ have teamed up with Brown Roofing to “Raise The Roof For A Hero.” Nominate a teacher, first responder, veteran, volunteer, or neighbor who is a hero in your community and always there to lend a helping hand that is in need of a new roof.

Brown Roofing’s Roofing for Humanity provides one roof a year to a family in need and despite their own circumstances has given back to their community.
Contest Rules
Contest is open to Connecticut residents, 18 years of age or older.
Roof replacement must take place between April 1st and June 30th, 2025. Unless extension of later date agreed upon by Brown Roofing.
Recipient agrees to allow Brown Roofing and crew full access to roof and full yard access on-site day of construction.
Recipient agrees to allow Connoisseur Media (WPLR/Chaz& AJ) and Brown Roofing to photograph and video roofing project for social media postings.
Roof must be pre-inspected and replacement job scheduled with Brown Roofing in advance.
Home size cannot exceed 2500 sq. Feet.
Maximum Roof Replacement cost up to but not to exceed $25,000.
Cannot be a rental property.
Must be owner (recipient) owned and occupied with no tax or liens on the mortgage or property. Free of liens or title/deed restrictions.
Recipient must be a Connecticut Resident, and recipient house must be located in Connecticut.
Recipient must be located within a 30-mile radius of Brown Roofing (Brown Roofing Company, Inc., 12 Progress Ave., Seymour, CT 06483)
Prize cannot be redeemed for cash value. Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for another prize. Grand Winner is required to provide his/her valid Social Security Number to Sponsor for tax purposes and/or complete an IRS W-9 form in order to claim a prize. Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes on prize value and, as applicable, will be issued an IRS Form 1099 based on the prize value determined by Sponsor. Some additional restrictions may apply.
