99.1 PLR celebrates 50 years! This week we are celebrating another great year in our history: 1975!
That year PLR presented The Allman Brothers Band at New Haven Coliseum. The Allman Brothers hit the road in ’75 to support their fifth studio album (and sixth overall) album “Win, Lose or Draw.” It was also the fifth straight year they came to New Haven. This show in ’75 would be their last show at the Coliseum until 1979.
Special guest Muddy Waters was also on the bill.
