99.1 PLR celebrates 50 years! This week we are celebrating our first year on the air: 1971.
That year PLR welcomed The Grateful Dead to New Haven for an outdoor summer show at the Yale Bowl. At the time PLR was just 3 months old and this was the first major rock concert that PLR supported.
