99.1 PLR celebrates 50 years! This week we are celebrating another great year in our history: 1977!
That year PLR presented Emerson, Lake & Palmer at New Haven Coliseum. ELP was on its “Works Tour” to support their “Works Volume 1″ and Works Volume 2” studio albums that both came out separately in 1977. Among the hit songs that came out of these two albums include Fanfare for the Common Man, C’est la Vie and Maple Leaf Rag.
Today we look back at ELP’s show in New Haven….
