99.1 PLR celebrates 50 years! This week we are celebrating our ninth year on the air: 1980.
Today we look back at one of the biggest concerts to ever come to Connecticut: Eagles with special guest Heart and Little River Band at Yale Bowl in 1980. Nearly 68,000 people came to The Bowl on a hot summer afternoon and rocked out to the music of the Eagles.
