Friends of Feral Cheshire Cats - Volunteers Needed!
Friends of Feral Cheshire Cats is looking for volunteers to provide a foster home to feral cats and kittens as they become socialized to be placed in a permanent home. The CUREchief® Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Cheshire dedicated to bringing warm and fuzzy feelings to cancer patients, survivors, their families and friends. The goal is to provide comfort to cancer patients by giving CUREchiefs® to those undergoing treatment and through a "Piece of Hope®" to the families and friends. Their mission also includes bringing HOPE to those with Alopecia and other conditions that may cause hair loss. CUREchiefs® are complimentary. How you can get a Recycling Bin!
Recycling bins are available to Cheshire residents through the Public Works Department. You may come into the office at Town Hall to pick up a recycling bin between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You may call the Public Works Office at 203-271-6650 for further information. Each residential unit is provided with one (1) recycling bin per household. Each additional recycling bin can be purchased at $5.00 per bin.
