WPLR/LIVE NATION “THE MUSIC OF LED ZEPPELIN AND THE MUSIC OF QUEEN” TICKET GIVEAWAY
    
    OFFICIAL RULES
    
    NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.  ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
    
    Eligibility:  Subject to the additional restrictions below, the WPLR “The Music of Led Zeppelin and The Music of Queen” Ticket Giveaway (The “Contest”) is open to residents of the state of Connecticut.  All winners must be at least 18 years or older at the time of entry.  Employees of  “Cox Radio, Inc. d/b/a WPLR-FM, Live Nation Inc., The Chevrolet Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut and each of their respective affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win.  The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.
    
    How To Enter:  The contest will begin at 12:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) on Monday October 5, 2009 and end at 11:59 p.m. (E.S.T.) on Sunday November 22, 2009. (The “Contest Periods”).
    
    No facsimiles or mechanical reproductions permitted.  Only one (1) entry per person.
    
    Enter by going to WPLR.com anytime during the contest period.  When you get to the WPLR .com website, find the contest page for the WPLR “The Music of Led Zeppelin and The Music of Queen” Contest. Then entrants will enter to win logging into the “PLR Insider” Member Center then by providing all information asked for on the contest page (the entrants full name, address, gender, town, zip code, email address, phone number and date of birth) and then clicking the “Submit” button.  Subject to compliance with the eligibility and other requirements of these Official Rules one (1) entrant will be randomly selected from the website, at the end of contest period and will be declared the grand prize winner.
    
    You may enter the contest only one time during each contest period and only (1) prize will be awarded per person.
    
    Sponsors will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or sponsors.  In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent.  For these purposes, an ISP account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning ISP addresses for the domain associated with such ISP account.  Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by sponsors in its sole discretion, and sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the contest.  All entries become property of sponsors and none will be returned.
   
   Listeners accessing our station audio via IP connections like website-based streaming or mobile devices are welcome to enter.  However, WPLR cannot be responsible for delays in electronic transmission of station audio to IP devices.  By entering this contest, listeners acknowledge their understanding and agreement to this specific provision of the contest rules.
    
    Winner Selection:  One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received from the WPLR website.    
    
    Prizes and Odds:  One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive two (2) tickets to see “The Music of Led Zeppelin and The Music of Queen” at The Chevrolet Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut on Saturday November 28, 2009 (Actual retail value (“ARV”) $35.00 each ticket).  
    
    Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received to the WPLR website.
    
    Prize cannot be redeemed for cash value.
    
    Winner Notification and Acceptance:  Winners will be notified by telephone, email and/or U.S. Mail.   Note: If winners are notified by U.S. mail or by email, return of prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of a substitute winner.
    
    Winners may waive their right to receive prizes.  Prizes are non- assignable and non- transferable.  No substitutions allowed by winner.  Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and sponsors reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.  Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes.  Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be returned within ten (10) business days of the date of the sender’s postmark.  Failure to timely sign and return the affidavit or release, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner’s disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner.
  
    Except where prohibited, acceptance of any prize constitutes winner’s consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation to the Internet, or further compensation.   Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of WPLR.  For prize winners list (available after Tuesday, November 24, 2009) or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: WPLR/Music of Led Zeppelin and Music of Queen Online contest, “Winners List Request” or “Official Rules Request” (as applicable), 440 Wheelers Farms Road Suite 302, Milford, Connecticut 06461.
    
    Participation:  By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of sponsors, which shall be final in all respects.  Sponsors reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this contest as solely determined by sponsors.  In the event the contest is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of sponsors, which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the contest, sponsors reserve the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the contest.  Should the contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, sponsors reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.
    
    Construction: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.  In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
    
    	Sponsor:  The WPLR “The Music of Led Zeppelin and The Music of Queen” Ticket Giveaway is sponsored by Cox Radio Inc. d/b/a/ 99.1 FM WPLR Radio and Live Nation Inc. d/b/a The Chevrolet Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut.  The decisions of sponsor and contest judges regarding the selection of winners, the interpretation of these Official Rules and all other aspects of the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects.  Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the contest.
