Job Description

Call on prospects and present outlines of various programs or commercial announcements.
Attract clients to purchase radio time by presenting information on various programs that will draw customers to their businesses.
Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, time rates and sales contracts.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients by providing top quality customer service.
Investigate and resolve customer problems.
Communicate with other departments to assure quality service in placing orders and arranging remotes and promotions.
Collect prompt payment from clients.
Maintain required records and paperwork.
Attend sales staff meetings and training sessions.

Responsibilities

Developer of revenue for radio station through client marketing and advertising.
Ascertains and anticipates the needs of clients and develops advertising opportunities to meet those needs.
Develop new clients through creative problem solving based on Cox Radio training principles.

Qualifications

Intelligent, creative and self-motivating.
Strong communication skills a must.
Candidates with college degree and or related experience preferred.
Must have valid Connecticut drivers license.
