Steven Van Zandt, longtime member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band and featured actor on the hit television drama series, The Sopranos, is your host on PLR every Sunday from 8 to 10am. The show features the classics of 1960's Garage Rock and today's top Garage bands.

Steven Van Zandt has long been a champion of Garage Rock and the show will focus on the evolution of the enduring Garage Rock sound. You'll hear music and historic facts on classic rock 'n roll artists such as Them, The Electric Prunes, The Music Machine, The Ramones, The New York Dolls, and The Animals, as well as new music and concert notes from young Garage Rockers such as The Greenhornes and The Swingin' Neckbreakers.

According to Van Zandt, "Garage Rock is music for older people with young spirits and young people with old souls. It's a certain sensibility that you have when you're 17 or when you're 67. It never goes away."
