On September 24, 2004 Kyle Carpenter of Northford passed away at the young age of 16. Kyle died after a 5 year battle with Lupus. It is my pleasure to be the honorary chair for the Kyle Carpenter Walk for Lupus set for Sunday, September 28 at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven. Registration will take place September 28 at 9:30AM and the walk will begin at 11AM. You can register in advance at www.lupusct.org or www.firstgiving.com/lupusct. The first giving site allows you to email friends to solicit them for the walk.

Please join me in Kyle's memory on September 28 at Lighthouse Point Park. This walk is the first step in learning more about Lupus and, ultimately, in finding a cure.
